HELP!! Autorun worm + MFC32dll problem
These problems are related I think. I've been told I have to format my hard disk as the worm will destroy everything. I don't believe this is true. Basically the problem is:
My internet explorer has a new tag at the top: "Hacked by GNUlihd@gmail.com" I am unable to open directly my pendrive or MY COMPUTER, and when I right click the top most message in the box is "AUTORUN". When I try and open C: drive directly, I get a message that MFC32dll.dll.vbs is missing. I think my virus program (ESET NOD32) deleted it. I think all these problems are related. The guy in the shop calls it the "Autorun worm", and it can't be deleted e says. Can you help me... (NB: I am not a tech wizzo....) P.S. I think this might have something to do with the "Butsur.B Worm" which my Antivirus keeps detecting and cleaning thanks very much ian Last edited by twigdip : 06-04-2007 at 03:50 AM.
