Re: HijackThis Log
In my hurry to get off for my sister I missed the sticky *sorry*
Well as the problem, I have random IE pages that keep popping up with random advertisements, this only occurs though when I'm accessing Firefox. I suspect it to be from the IM chat that my sister got a bit ago called QQ(all the rage in asia apparantly). My Ad-Adware with updated definitions along with Windows Defender didnt' seem to pick up anything so I used HijackThis. Here's an updated log. **Also as a sidenote, my AVG Free picked up "Trojan Horse.collected.11.b" a while ago, don't know if it caused the problem but that's been solved already and this keeps continueing** Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 7:24:16 PM, on 15/04/2007 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16414) Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\brsvc01a.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\brss01a.exe c:\program files\common files\logitech\lvmvfm\LVPrcSrv.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgamsvr.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgupsvc.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgemc.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\vsmon.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\avsys\ScanningProcess.exe C:\Program Files\Logitech\iTouch\iTouch.exe C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\bin\jusched.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgcc.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Works Shared\WkUFind.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\LComMgr\Communications_Helper.exe C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus G\AirGCFG.exe C:\Program Files\ANI\ANIWZCS2 Service\WZCSLDR2.exe C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zlclient.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\avsys\ScanningProcess.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\LComMgr\LVComSX.exe C:\Program Files\Logitech\MouseWare\system\em_exec.exe C:\PROGRA~1\ZONELA~1\ZONEAL~1\MAILFR~1\mantispm.exe C:\Program Files\TheWeatherNetwork\WeatherEye\WeatherEye.exe C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msrr.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Ray\Desktop\hijackthis\HijackThis.exe O4 - Re: HijackThis Log
Post a combofix log
1. Download this file - combofix.exe http://www.techsupportforum.com/sect...s/ComboFix.exe alternate link http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe 2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts. 3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall If the log is large You might need to post half in one reply half in another. |

"I also have the same trojan horse that keeps coming back as this guy"
Where is it located and whats the file name ? Probaly in system restore ? Manualy delete these files C:\DOCUMEMENTS and settings\Ray\net.exe C:\DOCUMEMENTS and settings\Ray\oo.exe Your antivirus might delete when you get close to them, thats fine. Post back with a fresh Hijackthis log and a kaspersky or panda online scan Panda ActiveScan-Free online scanner, http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm Do a full scan > Click the my computer button After the scan click see report then Save the report and post it back here please. Kaspersky Lab - Free Online scan: http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner Click scan settings and place a check next to use [x]extended this database etc etc. Click ok. Then choose: my computer: scan all your hard drives and mapped disks. when finished click save as text and post that in your reply. We dont need to see item's listed as "Object is locked skipped" so edit those out. We do not need to see items reported that are in an antivirus Quarantine folder's. We do not need to see cookies |

This is my HJT log after deleting those two files. (Oh sure AVG doesn't catch them on full system scan but catches them when I get near them -_-)
