Exclamation COmmand help serious

My main problem is that whenever I try and enter a command into the run>command window, such as ipconfig/all, the window says this has been disabled by the administrator. also when I type in nonsense like "aogdpi" it says the same thing, leaving me to believe that there is a program or something that makes it auto respond. Is there any malware I ahve or a fix that can be used for this?

Re: COmmand help serious

Hello acdc125 and welcome to TSF,

Please take the time to read the sticky threads at the top of the HijackThis Help forum.

TrendMicro's HijackThis version2 Beta

(Updated!) IMPORTANT - Read This Before Posting A Log

We also request that you do not bump threads prior to 48 hrs as this section of the forum is incredibly busy. We volunteer our time--there are only so many of us and we can only do so much.

----------------------------------------------------------

While you will see improvement after this round, this is not the end of the infection. Be sure to return with all logs requested.

Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop. Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive% -(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
  • Choose your usual account.
  • Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
  • Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
  • It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
  • Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
  • When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
  • Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum

-----------------------------------------------------

Please run this online scan to search for any remnants. It can take some time, so please be patient and allow it to run it's full course:

Perform an online scan with Internet Explorer with Panda ActiveScan
  1. Click on located at the bottom of the page.
  2. A "pop up" window will appear. * Please ensure that your pop up blocker doesn't block it *
  3. Enter your e-mail address, country, and state & click "Free Online Scan" *The download of the 8 MB Panda's ActiveX control will take place*
Begin the scan by selecting
  • If it finds any malware, it will offer you a report.
  • Please ignore any entry it finds and the offer to buy the program to remove the entry, as we will address this later.
  • Click on then click
* You needn't remain online while it's doing the scan but you have to re-connect after it has finished to see the report.
* Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop.

What DSS will do:
  • create a new System Restore point in Windows XP and Vista.
  • clean your Temporary Files, Downloaded Program Files, and Internet Cache Files, and also empty the Recycle Bin on all drives.
  • check some important areas of your system and produce a report for your analyst to review.
  • DSS automatically runs HijackThis for you, but it will also install and place a shortcut to HijackThis on your desktop if you do not already have HijackThis installed.

Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
  1. Close all applications and windows.
  2. Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  3. When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt <-this one will be minimized
  4. Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt in your thread in the HijackThis Log Help Forum.
  5. Please attach extra.txt to your post.
To attach a file to a new post, simply
  1. Click the[Manage Attachments] button under Additional Options > Attach Files on the post composition page, and
  2. copy and paste the following into the "Upload File from your Computer" box:
    C:\Deckard\System Scanner\extra.txt
  3. Click Upload.

Please include the following in your next reply:

C:\SDFix\Report.txt
Panda results
main.txt
an attached extra.txt

Re: COmmand help serious

ok thx and sorry for the bumping

I tried the SDFix and it stopped halfway and said it was disabled by my administrator.

I tried the panda scan and it didnt work...

well before doing this ytesterday I followed the the steps in the remove your malware section about the virus that blocks the registry edit and task manager.

Is there any other way to get rid of it?

or atleast find out my comps ip adress, subnet mask, default server or DNS server?

Re: COmmand help serious

Hi,

Please copy these instructions to Notepad as you will not have any browsers open during portions of this fix.

*******************************************

Download ComboFix from here and save it to your desktop. Do not run it yet.

**It's important you save it directly to your desktop**

---------------------------------------------------------

Download the attached acdc.zip file to your desktop.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Close any open browsers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Double click on the zip folder, then double click on the acdc.vbs within.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. I'll need that in your next reply.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Run a new scan with HijackThis and save the log.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Click Start>Run and copy/paste the entire text in the quote box below into the run box and click ok.
Quote:
cmd /c reg query "HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\User Privilege Service"
/s>\~.txt&&\~.txt&&del \~.txt
Please include the information produced in your next reply along with C:\ComboFix.txt and a new HijackThis log.

How is your system behaving?
