to add to the error message, i do have programs that lock up at times and nero showtime gives me a bsod. I don't think this info. is related to my Adobe Pro error message when closing out .pdf files, but i'm not an expert and thought i'd provide that additional information.

thanks

problem solved.

No Disc Error was occuring due to installing usb memory flash drive for ReadyBoost device and it was configured as the C: drive. Changed the drive letter and problem went away.
