OS: Windows 98 & Windows XP Home/Pro

My System

Do an online virus scan at TrendMicro or RAV Antivirus.

End the following processes:

Netsurf.exe

I would uninstall the following since it’s not really required:

C:\Program Files\USA Datanet Internet Portal\Netsurf.exe

Suspicious (wait for someone who knows what this is before doing anything with it):

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://localhost:8082/tour/quicktou...mp;ver=3.1.0.69
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int
ernet Settings,ProxyServer = http=localhost:8083
O9 - Extra button: Real.com - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\Shdocvw.dll

Check and fix the following:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
F0 - system.ini: Shell=

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing/visible also. Do a search for the following and delete them if they exist:

C:\Program Files\USA Datanet Internet Portal\ -- delete whole folder

Reboot and post a new HJT log file. Please post the WHOLE log file (including the version number, Windows OS, etc. heading).

No, that is my internet connection. The proxy number is 8082. If I delete that I won't get internet anymore.

My internet is running extremely slow and yesturday I tried to download something and it was going so slow, it was dl'ing 1 kb/sec! And it was going to take 174 hours. I play neopets and the games on there are downloading really slow, if they will even download at all. This just started happening a couple weeks ago. :\
