Norton Tech Support Experience

I recently needed technical support to help figure out how to reinstall my new Norton Antivirus 2006.

I went to the symantec website and found three methods whereby I could contact them for help.

The choices were:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/tech...6/contact.html

1) Live Chat (free)

2) Email (free) 72 hr turn around

3) Phone $29.95 (unbelieveable)

Since the only good choice was #1 Live Chat, I entered the cue. I waited about 10 minutes, as I was #8 in the cue. Not a bad waiting time.

The good news is I found a solution to my problem. My tech was Abdul.

My problem was:

I couldn't reinstall Norton Antivirus 2006. When I tried I couldn't get any further than the license agreement page, and it wouldnt reveal the button to accept the license.

Solution:

I used Tab / Shift / Arrow key

This helped me advance past the license agreement page to the pre-install scan area. Then I was able to scan and install the product.

This information was nowhere to be found. I'm sure others have had similar problems, so wanted to post my experience here to help others.

:)

Now my computer is happy once again!
