Internet Explorer will not run - sort of!
I use the AOL browser which sits on top of Internet Explorer and uses its settings. Recently I have had trouble accessing secure sites. Checking my IE settings I discovered that the homepage address had been changed to ???????? and persistently reverted back to that value when I changed it to AOL. HJT shows no homepage or startpage
I have plenty of security - AVG Pro, Adaware; S&D; MacAfee Firewall. When I try to run IE directly, it fails - except that a window opens with a caption: " http://media98.fastclick.net/w/safepop.cgi?mid=51855&sid=8418&id=103863&len=0&c=31&nfcp=1&fp=". I can start IE indirectly from the Start menu via update icons Where do I start? Seamus99 |

Hi Seamus
Sounds like you've picked up something. Please follow Microbell’s 5 step process here and then post your HJT log in the HijackThis Forum.
