Spyware programs in safe mode.
Do you need to run anti-spyware programs such as Ad-Aware, Spy Bot and SpyDefender in safe mode always. All posts I see say run these in safe mode to clean infected computers.

Its the preffered way to do it. In safe mode many services and softwares are not running by default. So there is a less risk of resistance of a file that you would like to delete. In safe mode thigs are faster. Most of the systems that need a big clean up can not even launch a program in normal mode. In safe mode they work faster. Those are the two major reasons of running clean up softwares in safe mode.
