hey people,

Can anyone explain what a trojan is please, are they bad

and if so how do i go about removing them

A type of malicious software that masquerades as a useful program or file to gain the user's trust and be opened is called a Trojan horse or trojan. Once opened, it executes malicious computer code.

Removal process depends on the kind and version of the infection. If you would like to learn read the hjt log help section threads regularly or apply to the TSF security academy if you are keen.
