Rootkit: Does this mean trouble?
The last few weeks, my WEbroot Spyware is finding a possible rootkit hidden, everytime it scans.
When I run Rootkit Hook Analyzer, it finds "8" Hooked services. My PC is running alright and am able to go surfing anywhere I want, most of the time. But I have a friend that I send attachments to, that says I may be hurting his PC. Do you think that he is getting any of the rootkit from me? Is there anything I can do about this rootkit (Kernal)?
