Works files not opening very, very slowly
I have works files since 2001. When I click on the files, they open very, very slowly. Some times it takes 20 - 25 seconds to open. I get error messages
error message:msworks.exe-entry point not found. The procedure entry point? WksSetunhandledExceptionRilter@@yaxxz cound not be located in the dynamic link library WkWat.dll. |

Hi David,
do you use a firewall? Sometimes the fact that programs open slowly is caused by the firewall as it is protecting your computer by controlling which progs may access the internet or execute certain actions on your pc. So, try to authorize the following apps in your firewall: msworks.exe services.exe svchost.exe This maybe helps. Greetz, Devi |
