Hello David Flagg,

Ok, first thing I'd advise you to do is to restart your computer, simply because some updates can't be installed before you restart it.

The next step is to check that LiveUpdate is configured correctly. The following interactive tutorial will help you with this:

http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/tut...13section5.htm

if you still have the same problem, please provide me with the following information:

* What version of norton are you using? This can be found by clicking About Norton Internet Security in the Help & Support section of the program.

* Do you have Service Pack two installed? This can be checked by going to Start>Run and typing winver, then clicking ok. If you find SP2 or Service Pack 2 somewhere here, then you have the latest service pack installed.

That's it for now. I'll get back to you with more information as soon as you reply.

Have a nice day,
Petteri Aalto
