Don't know were to start my post, I'm new to this
Hi, I'm truckerchr. Last week i was on the web. I put in the HTTL www.porn.com, i got this screen that wanted to redirect me for payment. I tried to close site. i then had a lot of problems getting alot of pop ups, that wouldn't close.findly i shut down my(foxfire) broswer. on my desktop i had an Icon that i couldn't deleate or thash, I tried alot of ways. then rebooted my os (WinXP)but the ICon keeps coming back and i now can't open my control panel or restore. it seems as though the more i try the more i lose of my system. if i open a different porgram i'm asked what progeam to use. it has my firewall shut down and my antivris shut down. i think it's eating my system. I can't open adwere or spybot. any info willbe helpful. truckerchr |

Truckerchr,
Please follow MicroBell's 5 Step process outlined here After running through all the steps, please download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Double-click on the file you just downloaded. Click on the "Unzip" button to install. It will by default install to the directory - C:\PROGRAM FILES\HIJACKTHIS\ Double click on HijackThis.exe to run the program. 1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'. 2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log. 3. Post the hijackthis.log file in the HijackThis Log Help forum. Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless.
