Spyware Problem

Is BackWeb lite spyware/adware? or is it legit?

Also, Spybot Search & Destroy said that Windows Security Center.FirewallDisableNotify and Windows Security Center.AntiVirusDisableNotify were threats. Is that true?

Not really...It's used mainly for software updates, but some may look at it as being "spyware". We can remove it if you like.

Give us the Spybot log...just give us the part with the entries that can't be fixed by Spybot. We should fix the other two entries also.

Heres the thing, I restored all three. And I am having trouble with Outlook Express ever since I installed Spybot Search & Destroy. So I uninstalled Spybot. Can you help?

Maybe...What is the problem with Outlook Express? Did uninstalling Spybot help?

No, an error ocmes up saying "pop3 is not responding. Do you want to wait another 300 seocnds for server to respond?"

And Spybot deleted my Backweb Client 6.3.2.62. Is that affecting my outlook express?

I downloaded a File Recoverer, should I use that, if so what should I restore?

Spybot tells me that too, but I understood it was because I have my Windows firewall and antivirus disabled because I am using Norton. If that isn't the case I guess I better get it checked out,too.
