Hi All, I am a newbie at this site and this is my second post.
From two to three days I have been facing this problem of an virus that goes by the name of Blackdoor.tofger. I followed the instructions given at the Norton Website, but after the virus file resumes itself when the windows is restarted. When I shut down computer it gives me an svchost.exe and win32.dll not responding and when the computer is and runnin on cable network or even when its offline...the timer icon icon for the mouse is always on, which I assume something behind my backdoor is running.
I used Spyware Doctor, Spybot-search and destroy, registry mechanic and norton to fix it. I don't knows the deal with this virus thing...

if any can be of any assistance, it will significanlty help me. Thank you

Hi Nic -

It's quite possible something is protecting it. I'd suggest you post a HijackThis log in our HJT forum, and let one of the Analysts have a look-see at what's on your system.

Please download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Double-click on the file you just downloaded.
Click on the "Unzip" button to install. It will by default install to the directory - C:\PROGRAM FILES\HIJACKTHIS\

Double click on HijackThis.exe to run the program.

1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'.
2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log.
3. Post the hijackthis.log file in the HijackThis Log Help forum. Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless.
