Need help prepping a new laptop.
Am on a short fuse here. Will be deploying to Mosul Iraq with the army here on the 3rd. Have a new personal laptop I'm taking. Go a few desires to take care of (with the laptop - you jokers).
1) Best options for security downloads before anything else is loaded. 2) Easiest to download my America On Line "bookmarks" as copy n paste each URL would take many hours. Is there a file to open on my system. Yes there is an WWW.AOL.com website I can access world wide but it has no access to my bookmarks. Yes eventually, I'll be pulling the plug on AOL. Thanks |

Greyknight I admit to a whoops.
After following the steps in going from AOL to Internet Explorer all goes well until the final step (step 14) where the *.pfc extension on the "saved favorites" folder does not allow it to be saved to the Internet Explorer favorites folder. I get a "this is not a valid bookmark" message. Did I miss a step? Last edited by sojerguy; 12-25-2005 at 01:32 PM. |
