Losing hope! Can anyone please help?!?!
PLEASE!!!!!!!!
I have tried to get help on this problem for 3 days now with no solutions. So your help will be most appricated!! The problem is I can not get online on one of the three screen names on my comp. we have WinXP 2002 service pack2 When I try to log on to my SBC homepage it starts to load the stops and I get a box asking if I want to send a report. There is also a "click here" to see report. Which says the report includes C:\DOCUME~1\David\LOCALS~\Temp.\2742.-appcompat.txt I have tried to log on several times when I check the error report everthing stays the same except the number. I tried different spy ware removal programs, Cleanup, deleting temp. files, I have a HJT log.that I have been told looks "ok". Can anyone help? Please let me know if I have left anything out. now try this and see if this helps,
put your windows xp cd in the dvd/cdrom. then click on start -> run -> and then type in "sfc /scannow" without the "" and then it should repair system files. after the process is done, try to go online again and see if the solution ive provided fixed your problem. |

No disrespect, but what is that going to help? I am not very sharp with comps. But the point is to fix this so I can continue to use my SBC account I have had for years. Again I may be misunderstanding what you are saying,and I dont mean to offend. Thank you for your reply! I do appreciate the help!! Thanks |
