Apropos Media Browser Modifier
My Windows XP PC is infected with what Microsoft Anti-Spyware Calls Apropos Media Browser Modifier. Anti-Spyware has deleted it several times and it has regenerated. However recently, when running a spyware scan anti-spyware has found Apropos and then fatal errored. There appeared to be a fix on the Microsoft website but i could find none of the Hidden Attribute .sys files that Microsoft said was causing the fatal error. I found the Apropos file in my registr in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Aprps. I have deleted this file from the registry but it regenerates as soon as i close the regedit window. Would someone please help, the visible side of this spyware is annoying Casino pop-up windows. I do not know what other damage it is causing.
