Holistyc dialer

Thanks for that. I was hoping to do it without subscribing to another provider!

As Resolution stated, there are manual removal instructions on that page.

If you like, you can post in the HJT forum, and someone there will help you through.

Before attacking an adware/spyware problem with hijackthis make sure you have already run the following tools. Download and update the databases on each program before running.
Please download HijackThis http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/HijackThis.exe - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Double click on the program to run it.

1. If it gives you an intro screen, just choose 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'.
2. If you don't get the intro screen, just hit Scan and then click on Save log.
3. Post the hijackthis.log file in a new thread in the HJT forum http://www.techsupportforum.com/security-center/virus-trojan-spyware-help/. Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless.

another program i recommend is AVG anti-virus which can be downloaded from www.majorgeeks.com

install it on your computer, update AVG, and then run the anti-virus program. see if it gets rid of that dialer. good luck

Holistyc dialer

Thanks for that. I have AVG free edition and it doesn't throw this up. I think these guys may help me through this website. Here's hoping!
