hijacker trying to take out my home page
I have followed all of the steps outlined for the security of my computer. I did the best I could and I was able to take care it appears of the superspider trojan that I posted having a problem with earlier today. It was Ewido that finally appears to have done it. But everytime I try to do anything on my computer, Spywar Guard comes up with a message saying my home page is trying to be changed. Something I have had trouble with all day. The site trying to do it is http://win-eto.com/p.htm?id=0. I have done a hjt log file just in case someone needs it to help me. Not sure what to do.
Thank you Amy Last edited by littlebrody26; 09-09-2005 at 09:00 PM. |

Hi Amy -
Please do not create multiple threads for the same issue. You have received a first reply and fix in your HJT thread, here: Computer crashed last night please help. Fear it is surfside kick and more Ried will see you through.....

Sorry for the confusion.
I had two computers crash at two seperate times within a day apart. I then started a new thread as told on the HJT list by someone on the general security list. I apologize for any confusion.
