Trojan SuperSpider

Hello my name is Amy

I just posted a HJT file on that forum from my other computer. I fired up my laptop and have been working on updating it and downloading all the programs the security section suggests. While doing that my Nortans updated itself and found a file it can not take care of. It said it is called Trojan. SuperSpider. What do I do? I just transferred some of my files from my other computer to here and have no were else safe to go with them. I fear loosing my children's photos and other files.

Thank you for any help.

Hi Amy -

It appears as though you are receiving help in your HJT thread from Ried. Keep to that thread, and she'll see you through.

Second computer

Thank you,
I had posted that earlier in the day for our desk top and then when I went to try to use our laptop that we have not used in months, that is where I found this new trojan. It appears as though that Trojan was removed by Ewido, now I am just dealing with someone trying to change my homepage site and Spyware guard asking me every two seconds if I want to keep or change it. The site trying to change it is http://win-eto.com/hp.htm?id=0 other then that my computer is doing much better with every program you had listed running. I thought that IE_SPYAD might help it, but after we downloaded that it did not. Thank you for your response.
Amy

Hi Amy,

Since this is for another computer:

Download HijackThis . This program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Run the scan, save the log, but do not fix anything yet. Many files it finds are harmless, and required for your system to operate.

Post your log in a new thread in the HijackThis Log Help forum. This our dedicated spyware/virus forum. One of the expert analysts there will look over your log and assist you. Please include a brief description of the problem you are having and what you have done to fix it so far.
