Iwon - Safe?

Is Iwon a safe site to visit?

I did a search and couldn't find an answer.

I recently got rid of a major spyware infection (thanks to techsupportforum) and I've been trying to be careful of sites I visit for fear of becoming re-infected.

My wife really enjoyed playing some of the online games that Iwon had at their site, but I've told her not to go there anymore.

I'm running spyware monitoring programs now and feel pretty well protected, but I still don't want to take any unneccessary risks.

Is there a way to tell if a site is safe before you go to it?

Thanks.

besides having spyware utilities, do you also have a firewall installed? if not check out www.majorgeeks.com and download zonealarm. good luck

i also recommend using mozilla firefox for your web browser. good web browser with good pop blocking.

Iwon is not safe. They install spyware/adware on the PC's that visit the site and monitor your browseing habits and is considered a security risk.

Go to http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Install MVPS host file on your computer. IWON is listed in the host file
