VX2 - Look2me
Please help, I am a new registered user and new to this.
I have a VX2 - Look2me on my computer which is causing popups when I connect to the internet. I am getting so many popups, I can barely keep up with closing them out. I have downloaded Spybot S&D, Ad-aware, Dr. Spybot, CWS Shredder, and I can't remember what all I have downloaded. Anyway, when I run the CWS Shredder, it finds the VX2 and I choose "fix-it" and when I reboot, it is still there. I have also used the Ad-aware and went to the suggested site to install the VX2 plugins, which I have the latest version. When I run that it shows the VX2, but when I click on to fix it, it tells me I need a updated version of VX2. I am confused, because I have downloaded the latest version. In addition, I also keep getting a "jbroa.exe" file and a "naik.exe" file that shows up in my "Hijack this log" I've even downloaded and ran "clean-it." It actually cleaned up like 7.5 GB of junk on my computer. When I first ran spybot I had 3350 infected files. Please help this is driving me crazy. Thank you so very much in advance!!!!! |

Please provide your HJT log to the security experts. Post your log under hjt log help thread for assistance. They will provide you a fix. There is a l2me fix file. I can give you a link for it and tell you how to use it but to be on the safe side consult with the experts here for a better cleaning of your system. When it rains it pours. You probably have more to clean up.
Good luck. |
