Please help.

Hello,

I am very sorry if i have made this thread in the wrong part of the forums. We have just got a new computer (totally free of viruses and spyware) and ZoneAlarm keeps telling me that MSN Messanger is trying to moniter my mouse movements and keystrokes... why?

Please can someone tell me why MSN would want to moniter my mousemovements and keystrokes and I would be very happy.

Thanks,

Ben27

Hello,

First of all brand new computers may come with spywares. There are instances.

About your problem : Msn messenger has a setting where it sets itself (your username) away. When you move your mouse or hit a key it sets itself back online. So you dont need to worry about it. If you want to get rid of this you can uncheck " show me as away when i am inactive for ... minutes "

Grin Thank You!

Thank you ever so much!

I was getting woried as I had a really bad spyware on my old computer...they were getting all of my passwords! I browsed the internet for this problem and I noticed that a few other people were having the same problem with MSN/Yahoo, so I wondered what it was.

Thanks you ever so much guys! You saved my old computer and taught me a lot of things!

(If anybody that I know has a problem, I will straight away recommend these forums with joy!)
