AIM trojan that HiJacks your Buddy list BEWARE!
hello, i myself have been hijacked by this trojan. the following link at the bottom of page will help you remove it.
i am not too sure about the details but how it works is it spreads itself thru your buddy list with a link if you click that link, you get it. the link below supposedly has info on removal options. please be careful. and warn others. spread the word of power, don't let your friends get hijacked by this. info about Backdoor.Win32.Agent.jn synopsis: Quote:

to be honest, i don't know. but all i know is it spreads itself by IMing your buddies with a link that downloads the file. the best precaution i took. was i saved my buddylist after immediately disconecting the ethernet cable and went and installed norton system works pro 2003 [just the av] and did a full system scan, found nothing, exited AIM, connected RJ45 and went online made a new SN and i use that now, and i have uploaded the buddylist file which i have scanned with AVG, TrendMicro online, and Norton Pro 2003 all check out ok.
EDIT: also another good precaution is to contact all your buddies, thru any means other than IM preferably and let them know about it. and instruct them to ask you about the link before clicking on it. if you never sent link tell them not to click it.
