Panda 9.0 Slowing Browser Help
I've been running Panda 7.0 with no problems and I recently upgraded to 9.0w/truprevent and now it takes longer, alot longer, to load webpages.
I run FF 1.1 for a browser with the pipeline tweaks and my computer is clean of any malware. What I did to find out it was Panda that was slowing me down and not my broswer, cpu, connection, etc was simply turnoff Panda and try to surf.....everything turned out to load fine with Panda off. Obviously I can't leave my cpu unprotected....any tweaks out there or any way to get Panda to stop slowing me down? I could go back to 7.0 but would like to try and make 9 work first. |

I'm not sure what setting in Panda could cause the slowdown (is it scanning everything each time?), but if you want, switch over to AVG and uninstall Panda altogether. You can get it at Grisoft. It's free and does a very good job at catching trojans/viruses.
