GAH!!!,new messenger virus + strange browser problem
Yep thats right another victim of bropia, and another person who cant remove it.
AVG doesnt find it and neither does spamannihilator and ad-aware. its be a helluva lot easyer if half the windows i open up didnt close down immediately and that includes and internet window that would link to a solution. Also on another computer thats networked to that one i cant access anything that will possibly help (it open up everything else fine) when i try to go to a virus checker or download a removal tool i get sent to bbc.co.uk. i.e. when i try to get http://securityresponse.symantec.com...r/FixSflog.exe it actually send me to http://www.bbc.co.uk/avcenter/FixSflog.exe |

Hi and welcome to TSF
Please download HijackThis - this program will help us determine if there is any spyware/malware on your computer. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Run a scan and save the log file. Get HijackThis Analyzer and save it to the same folder as the hijackthis.log file. Run HijackThis Analyzer and type in y if you agree. Open up the result.txt file created. Copy the whole result.txt log and post it back here. Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless. Make sure to include the System information at the top of the log as well.
