Continuation of previous post

Tetonbob the last thing I want is to waste your time. I had been trying to fix the problem for hours until i came here, so I want to take a rest for like 24 minutes. I am literally referring to my project as preperation for my history term paper. VirusDoctor only gave me the popup, it would not download because I could not download unless in safe mode. Websense thread: Im sorry. Now I know. As instructed from my post with Mbam, I followed Catbyte. Please help me.

Re: Continuation of previous post

Tallcoolguy700 -

This is going to be my last post on the matter. Again, I don't want to see you creating another thread on this subject. We ARE trying to help, but you have to be willing and able to follow instructions, not question everything we do.

I repeat:

Download the tools CatByte has requested you run, from another machine, transfer them via USB stick to the affected machine, run the tools, show CatByte the logs in the thread you already have open. Creating multiple threads for the same issue is against forum rules.

Why are you concerned about using Safe Mode with networking? If the machine is not infected, there's nothing to worry about. If it is infected and it's your only choice of action to be able to download the analysis tools we want you to run....do it.

Seems to me that in the time it's taken for you to create these new threads, you could have simply downloaded the tools via a friend's machine, or the library, or internet cafe, or something.....and posted the logs.

If we determine malware is not the cause of the issue, we'll advise on where to best post for assistance.

Exclamation Re: Continuation of previous post

CatByte instructed me to do so in downloading GMER Rootkit scanner, when I had asked him how to get the results onto my desktop, I was dumbfounded. CatByte only went on how if it scanned, it would be in my desktop. I dont see it there. I think CatByte is beginning to become a false positive to me, and Its not funny. And after all this is done, you better hope something was found. Ill repeat myself: I made a mistake in posting in that section!

Re: Continuation of previous post

Since you are having so many problems with us, please feel free to take the PC in to a repair shop and pay to have it "fixed"

Or back up you important files, format and reinstall everything. That sometimes is quicker.

I find you comments are disrespectful to CatByte. We are free help, don't treat us as a paid employee.

Closing this post.
