Quest for techs: Malware Remover Starter Kit CD-ROM?
I've been reading about this Windows Malware Remover Starter Kit CD-Rom that you can create. Is it REALLY necessary to have one of these OR can you always get away with simply hooking up the infected hard drive as an external drive to a secondary computer and then scanning it for viruses?
It seems a lot easier to just connect as an external drive. Plus you don't have to constantly burn CD-ROMS with each new virus definition. |
