Secunia
Somewhere along the line I installed a program called Secunia. I'm not aware that I really need it but I have no idea how to uninstall it. I believe it is affiliated with ParetoLogic. How do you rate Secunia as far as efficiency is concerned? Is it worth leaving in there? I have PC Tool spyware doctor and avast anti-virus. Do I need anything more? Do I need Foxit Reader and Adobe Flash Player?

Re: Secunia
To the best of my knowledge, Secunia is not related to ParetoLogic.
Secunia is largely a vulnerability assessment company. http://secunia.com/corporate/information/ I use and recommend their online vulnerability scanner, Secunia Online Software Inspector (OSI). They also have a version which can be installed locally, Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI). You should be able to remove it from the Control Panel if that is what is on your machine. It's worth using the online scanner from time to time, to help ensure all the applications it checks are up to date. Quote:
