Windows security center could not detect antyvirus and firewall

I dont know if it is the appropriate section for my problem or not.
Recently my comp bahaves strangly. I have comodo firewall and macafee antyvirus installed in my computer.all these firewall and antyvirus is running smoothly and there is no virus and malware because I scaneed the comp with antyspyware, antivirus .But windows security center could not able to detect any firewall and antivirus software.It says "you may not be safe no firewall and antivirus is installed in your comp click this baloon to fix the problem".
I have a more problem but i dont know if it is related to it or not. recently the rasdial command is not working .any file corrupted?

Hi

I don't think Windows Security Centre recognises all AVs or firewalls. If I remember correctly, there should be an option in Security Centre to allow you to manage your own settings.

windows can recognize comodo firewall and macafee antyvirus which I have. and it has been detecting and running smothly just a few days back, suddenly it failed to detect those.

Does the balloon look like a genuine Windows warning? (Don't click on it - just in case). Are you having any other problems - can't get to websites or can't access AV/security websites etc? When did you run your last scan - and with which programme?

All are fine,
1)this is a genuine windows warning, cause I opened win security center and there firewall and av are in red- firewall says off ( I switched win firewall off when installed comodo and it automatically detect comodo then and became green), virus protection says -not found.
2)there is no other problem like you said . I can check and update av.But my rsdial command is not working , I think it happened same time though I dont know if there is any connection with security.
3) I last scaned my system some days before but after this incident .I scaned with my macafee virus scanner.

it does not help. I have done all the process they discussed.. stopped windows security management, restart.. and run rundll32 wbemupgd, UpgradeRepository.
but neither works.. could not find rundll32 it says bad command.

I was going to suggest trying to initiate Windows File Protection but if you have SP3 installed, and you don't have SP3 slipstreamed to your main installation disk then it will just throw up more errors.

When you say you could not find rundll32, was the file missing? Have you tried searching your system to see if the file is there?
