avg firewall settings
I have AVG 8.5 version(paid) the firewall has 3 settings ALLOW ALL,BLOCK ALL OR STANDALONE COMPUTER.
Which of these settings should i choose for my laptop? sorry if the answer is obvious thanks Graham |

Well, you should Pick "Allow All" Otherwise you aren't gonna be able to receive any connections basically and your Internet might not even work properly.
Allow All: Allows all Inbound connections to be received Block All: Disallows all Inbound connections to be received STANDALONE: Your computer doesn't require anything else to be runned so I'm thinking it will block everything regardless. ----------------- Highly Recommend Allow All, and block stuff that you dont want to be able to reach you, yourself. |
