OS: windows xp


avg firewall settings

I have AVG 8.5 version(paid) the firewall has 3 settings ALLOW ALL,BLOCK ALL OR STANDALONE COMPUTER.

Which of these settings should i choose for my laptop?

Well, you should Pick "Allow All" Otherwise you aren't gonna be able to receive any connections basically and your Internet might not even work properly.

Allow All:
Allows all Inbound connections to be received
Block All:
Disallows all Inbound connections to be received
STANDALONE:
Your computer doesn't require anything else to be runned so I'm thinking it will block everything regardless.

Highly Recommend Allow All, and block stuff that you dont want to be able to reach you, yourself.
