Antivirus question

i downloaded Nod32 the other day ... the trial version and it keeps picking up media player and other clean .exe files as viruses. whats teh deal with this?

I would uninstall NOD32 and download one of these:

NOD32 is one of the better AntiVirus applications available.

That said, all security applications can produce false positives.

Did you download NOD32 from Eset's site?

http://www.eset.com/

Have you considered the possibility that the files NOD32 says are infected, are?

Scan the files identified as infected at VirusTotal and VirScan

maybe those files aren't clean. turn off advanced heuristics in real time protection and see if it is still turning up stuff.
