question about restoring
so i downloaded a zip file and before i even opened it i scanned it with my antivirus, turns out it had the autorun.cxl worm and my antivirus moved it to the quarantined files. i scanned my computer and it still detected it so it quarantined the file again. i decided to restore my computer to a previous point before i downloaded the zip file. i scanned the computer and the virus did not came up on avira. am i safe or do you guys recommend i reinstall windows?

You should be safe, anything that was not previously in there is gone, I do recommend that you do some Online scans though, just to be on the safe side, viruses can manipulate your security to think they are not there sometimes.
