Please ensure that you create a new thread in the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help Forum; not back here in this one.

When carrying out The Malware Removal Steps, if you cannot complete any of them for whatever reason, just continue on with the next one until they are all completed.
However,it is extremely important to make mention of the fact that you could not complete any of the steps in your post to the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help Forum; where an Analyst will assist you with other workarounds.

Once done, please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can.

This site doesn't interpret HJT logs any more. If you think your computer is infected, follow these instructions and post a new thread in the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum.

If you have any problems carrying out the instructions, be sure to explain them in your post. Also, be patient as the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is very busy and it might take a while for someone to get to you.

I see nothing untoward in that log, however....

As Undocked Windy and Acenator mention, we no longer use HijackThis as our initial analysis tool. It just does not see enough for today's infections. Additionally, this forum is not for malware removal assistance, as mentioned in the forum description at the top of the page.

We also do not want logs posted in this section of the forum, as indicated in this sticky anncouncement at the top of the forum

Please do NOT post your logs here

If you have reason to believe the machine is infected, follow the procedures in the link already provided. If there are other issues which you're experiencing, post in the appropriate forum such as the Windows XP section, without a HijackThis log.
