SAV corporate edition
hi,
I am looking for some help on Symantec Antivirus corporate edition. I have some pcs running windows xp pro sp2 with SAV installed as a client, they are not connected to a server. I understand that if you log into administrator account that I can get updates using liveupdate because groups admininistrator and power users groups can run liveupdate. When I log into a standard user account, I click on liveudate, I get this messege-Restricted users can run liveupdate in silent mode only. Updates will be automatically downloaded and installed if available. So making liveupdate run in silent mode will allow liveupdate to download and install updates for standard user accounts? thanks allyo |
