i'm ditching signature - based av now ( been using AVIRA FREE + WINDOWS FW on XP ) . i'm a very safe surfer and i've not been infected for years . i have 1gb of memory so i just want simple protection . i have experience with TF PREVX and DS but i don't want overkill and overlap . if you HAD to pick ONE of these progs which one would you go for - i only use about a dozen major news and politics sites , no p2p or porn etc . I occasionally download dvd covers from cdcovers.cc and never had a prob yet . i use MBAM on demand and sometimes play with other free scanners- A2 , SAS, IOBIT 360, MSE , but they never find anything so i guess i have good habits . I've only got MBAM and AVIRA installed at moment but i just don't want all 70mb of AVIRA if not needed . What do you think ? Cheers peter.
