help to remove Norton Rescue Disk
I had Norton Security and tried to remove it to download McAfee and the download stops and tells me to remove Norton Rescue Disk. I can't find how to do it or where it is even located. Any advice?

See if this Norton removal tool helps
1. Download this file: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe Save the file to the Windows desktop. 2. On the Windows desktop, double-click the Norton Removal Tool icon. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions. Your computer may be restarted more than once, and you may be asked to repeat some steps after the computer restarts. ===================== If still no joy, look for this registry key Start > Run > regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Norton Rescue Let me know if it's present.
