Anyone know how to stop Mcafee popups
I uninstalled mcafee anti-virus and in my sys tray in my bottom right I have the M icon with a red X in it.
It keeps prompting to install mcafee anti-virus, which I don't want. But I do want to keep mcafee anti-spam and site advisor, so I don't want to uninstall it outright. |

You may be better served asking this question in the McAfee support forum.
http://forums.mcafeehelp.com/index.php Did you install a new AntiVirus? It could be that McAfee Security Center is still in charge, and letting you know there's no AntiVirus installed.
