Is probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus do any major damage to my machine?
Hi support Team
we are using "ESET NOD32 Anti virus 4.0.437.0 trial version". we are getting following error while downloading some .exe file to my machine. NOD32 4260 2009.07.20 probably unknown NewHeur_PE we could not download that .exe file Can please tell me the scenarios which will infected to the system like "probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus". Is that virus do any major damage to my machine? ( if i download that .exe forcefully to my machine) Thanks, Satya. |

Hi Satya, welcome to TSF
If NOD32 is flagging the file as potentially infected, why would you want to continue downloading it? The whole point of antivirus software is to prevent infections.
