IE8 problem

hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with my internet explorer 8 that started like 2 days ago.
When I open it there a window that automaticly says that internet explorer has malfuctionned and it trying to restart. Then multiple windows open up and it says the same thing with all of the and it never stops.Even if i go in the task manager and I try to close it down manually it won't let me close it, there are only more windows that pop up. then i switched to google chrome and it stopped.

I have windows vista sp2 and i just wanted to know if its a virus or a spyware or something like that and if it is, can i do something???

Re: IE8 problem

Hi

If you think this is simply an IE problem then try our IE forum.

If you think you may be infected then please start here and follow the instructions.

NEW INSTRUCTIONS - Read This Before Posting For Malware Removal Help

Do not post your logs back in this thread - follow the guidance in the above link!

If you have problems with any of the steps, simply move on to the next one and make a note of the problem in your reply.

Please note that the Security Forum is always busy, so I would ask for your patience while waiting for a reply - it may take a few days.
