OK to run Ad-Aware, Windows Defender, and Avast all together?
They say you're not supposed to run 2 antivirus programs at the same time or they might "compete" with each other. So is it OK to run Ad-Aware, Windows Defender, and Avast all together? And is it overkill to run all three?

Antivirus programs (Avast, in your case) are different to antispyware (AdAware and Windows Defender). The general rule is one antivirus, one firewall and several antispyware, so you're ok.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with Windows Defender as you're using the much better Ad-Aware already, but it's up to you.
