Which firewalls are better than windows firewall?

I dont mind if it costs or doesnt, just as long as its better than windows. Also please tell me how to switch windows firewall to the one that u recommend to me in this thread.

First of all lets make sure there is not already another firewall besides the Window's one as most of your popular AV vendors now also have firewalls built into the suite.

What are you currently using for anti-virus?

Wait, wasn't there a compatibility issue people ran into when attempting to use a third-party firewall in Vista? Or is that a special case?

Vista is surely capable of running a third party firewall.

AVG free does not have a firewall so now you have a couple of options you can either get a security suite like Norton 360 or McAfee Security Center which would come equipped with a firewall or you can get just a firewall either for a small price or there are also some free ones for download like Online Armor, Zone Alarm etc. etc.
