Error contacting servers

Hi, I hope someone knows what my problem is, because I run out of ideas:

I am not being able to connect to some online casino where I always played in the past, when I double click the casino icon I get the first casino screen and a message saying:
NETWORK ERROR There was an error contacting the server. Please check your internet connection, and if the problem persists, please contact support.

There is nothing wrong with my internet connection, and nothing the casino technical support suggested worked so far.

Has anyone come accross this problem?

Have you added any security software, or any site blocking programs since the last time you could access the site.

Yes, it was after one of the authomatic updates of Windows, and the 2009 version of Norton Protection Centre was also installed.

What surprises me most is that it only has problems with a few sites.

I would disable Norton, or at least check the settings to see if it is blocking any of those sites
