Help with new AV
Hey guys. I have a home network, and we need a good antivirus/firewall/anti-spyware/malware combo. I need the BEST one out there for a small home network (5 comps). I was thinking AVG Internet Security Suite, or NOD32 Suite. Please help me out, I know NOD32 is amazing but is it that much better than AVG?
Whats the best thing for the money??? Thanks |

Re: Help with new AV
AVG is a pretty bad security software. Fails at detecting quite a few threats, also seems to detect false positives. I have used AVG internet security in the past and have never been satisfied. People face the problem with its removal and in some cases there is an updating problem, I have helped quite a few people with regards to this in another forum.
I would recommend sticking to ESET Nod32 or something better like the one I use currently, which is Kaspersky internet security 2009 (trust me, I am the happiest with this) Choose wisely Cheers, Prashant |
