First Steps section
I have a question, the first step for downloading the DDS did not work for me. After I ran the application, the following error prompted in the black screen: "The system cannot find the file specified."
As a result, I was not able to open/view the (2) logs - DDS.txt and Attach.txt How do I resolve this issue? Regards Rac |

Re: First Steps section
Hi -
Do you have a protection application with script blocking? If so, be sure to disable it. Or, an active HIPS application? Did any program give you a message while DDS was trying to run? Try to download it again, this time rename it to a .com extension. If that still doesn't work, post the logs from this next tool, along with the GMER rootkit scanner log, in your new thread in the malware removal forum, and explain why you've posted those logs instead. Please do not post the logs back here.
