Norton Antivirus 2005 problem.
Hello everyone!!
I have a question in regards of "Norton Antivirus 2005". I installed it about a week ago and it's been working perfectly but today I noticed Norton was disabled upon start up, everytime I restart the computer I have to enable the "Auto Protect" option. Will re-install the program fix this problem??. Thanks in advance!! |

Symantec says this is due to a virus. This could be, but it also a reflection of their poor program developement using security.
Dump Norton and use another product. http://service1.symantec.com/Support...04092415251106 Fletch |

Hi,
If you are using 2005, then when you pull up the program, select the OPTIONS area at the top of the menu (it is a bar), then click on Norton Anti-Virus and it will open a bunch of options. From the left bar, you can select many areas where YOU set the options. See if this helps you. Probably the first one on the left hand side would be the most important, but many just use the Default setting which I would recommend to you. |
