Recommendations for 3rd party email filter programs

Hi all,

We are currently using our ISP email account with Outlook Express and we are getting spammed through the roof.
We have been with tech support from the ISP but they were virtually helpless in this area and their best advice to get a 3rd party application to filter out unwanted/junk emails.
Any suggestions on good and effective programs where we can set up rules etc?

there is a thirdparty program that works between your isp and outlook express that will help with the spam.

I used to use it all the time before leaving my emails online and it worked great - cut the spam to almost nothng.

in addition you can forward all your emails through google and then on to outlook express. Google has a pretty good email filter and a side benefit is you wil have a backup to all of your emails.

Finally since you did ask for a good third party email client, check out thunderbird from mozilla.
