Can't uninstall network-based anti-virus software
I have Symantec Antivirus 10.1 on my computer because I did a restore to an image that was before it was removed. It was an enterprise edition from the company that I got the computer from and it requires a password for me to remove it. It was a small company and they no longer use it either but noboday can tell me the password. It won't let me remove it without a password. Does anybody know how I can get this off my system without knowing the password or having access to the server it was originally installed from???
thanks!! Deb |

Re: Can't uninstall network-based anti-virus software
Hello -
Your best move may be to undo the image restore if possible, or find someone at the company who can help, or perhaps someone at Symantec would be sympathetic, though that seems unlikely. Other than that, since this issue deals with company/network assigned passwords, we can't help, according to the forum rules. http://www.techsupportforum.com/rules.php Quote:
