I need...
I need a blockin site to block percific sites. Dating sites im aiming to get blocked. I had a good 1 but it was obvious , it was called k-9.
This has got somthing to do with viruses because i keep getting Trojan virus alert when moms been on this dating site and it's begging to annoy me. Because i carnt keep re-booting my pc all the time :/. Thanks in advance. |

Try Open DNS, you can set up all kinds of filters for blocking sites.

Or take a look at K9 web protection (www.k9webprotection.com). You can also use the hosts file in Windows to block a list of sites if you know what sites to block without using any 3rd party software.

I think there is an option in K9 to make it block silently and throw up a generic error message in the browser, but I agree with Tetonbob after reading your post fully. Set up a limited user account for your mom or set up shortcuts to browsers that use dropmyrights to run the browser under limited user rights for security.
